She graduated with Distinctions in all her Teaching qualifications, and then embarked on a successful career as a professional dancer, working across television and theatre in the UK and abroad.
Sue settled in Sittingbourne after starting a family and wanted to inspire a new generation of dancers through her teaching.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

I’ve been with CHSD since I was 6 years old and 18 years later I am still here. Sue is an amazing teacher and had guided me and the girls so much since we were tiny tots. She’s so kind and patient with all her students ranging from 3 year olds all the way to adults. We do a mixture of ballet, tap and jazz so there’s plenty to choose from

Miss Sue is fantastic. Taught me as a child 20+ years ago. She now teaches my eldest daughter tap, ballet and jazz, since she was 3years old, she is now 8! I have also started adult lessons and thoroughly enjoy. Will sign my youngest daughter up as soon as she turns 3. I couldn’t recommend CHSD more, a show at the Hazlitt is put on yearly which is such a lovely way for everyone to show off all there hard work. A lovely inclusive, friendly dance school! .

Both my girls attend CHSD and have done from the age of 3 they are now 11 and 15 and really love all their lessons. Miss Sue is amazing with students of all ages. Each year they take part in medal tests and a big show at the theatre which is always a special time for the students and friends and family can come and watch them on stage. CHSD isn't just a dance school it's more like. a family

I can only recommend CHSD, especially as an adult looking to join dance again.
I came into this dance school without any prior relationships. It was daunting at first to join a team where I didn't know anyone, however the girls were so welcoming and lovely from the get-go!
Miss Sue is a fantastic teacher and cares very much about all of her students. She always pours her soul into each and every dance and arranges everything for us girls. She is an excellent teacher (with beautiful technique and great know-how in tap, ballet and jazz) who creates a fun and inspiring dance environment!
She makes us feel like we belong, no matter our body size or dance experience - she will push everyone to reach their best potential!
For the amount of effort she puts in, the price is super cheap.
So, in summary: If you're looking to join a friendly and accepting dance school, no matter what age you are or what level your dance is at, CHSD is the right place!
